A great Guyanese rum here from indie bottler The Wild Parrot. This expression was distilled in 1999 and given a lengthy maturation, until it was eventually bottled up in 2021. Drawn from a single cask, and bottled at cask strength, with a pleasing nautical theme to its label.
Dried cherry, subtly savoury hints of oak and smoke, nutmeg, orange zest.
