Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Vibrant notes of grassy sugarcane, coconut flakes, and vanilla pod, with a herbaceous touch of lemon balm beneath.

Palate Gently sweet with notes of silky honey and soft cane syrup, joined by ripe pineapple, and plump sultanas.

Finish Gently grassy and herbal, with soft sweetness, and a hint of pepper.

The 'Original' Blend #1 but on steroids
I'm reviewing this as a sipping rum; I don't do cocktails or mixing!!!

I really liked the 42% ABV original release of the Signature Blend #1 and this 59% has taken the rum to an entirely new level. Very easy to sip and a real pleasure. I would have liked a tad more Jamaican funk but accept that's not to everyone's taste. Very 'clean' and refreshing, despite the ABV.
