Haiti 18 Year Old (That Boutique-y Rum Company)
An impressive aged rum from Haiti, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Rum Company for its Cinema Series. This sugar cane juice-based rum was column distilled in 2004, spending its first six years maturing in Haiti, before being transferred to the UK to complete its 18-year maturation. With complex layers of tart fruit, creamy caramel, and earthy oak, it's a fab find from those Boutique-y folks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vibrant layers of fruit, with tropical pineapple, juicy pear, and banana fritters, covered with dulce de leche.
Palate
Creamy fudge and caramel are joined by tangy notes of pineapple, while a touch of grassy cane nestles beneath.
Finish
Hints of earthy oak, herbal tea, and tangy fruit sweetness, backed by a warming crackle of pepper.
