Pretty dam good. Don't mix it though as you'll loose the flavour. On par with Eldorado although not as smooth but much cheaper.

A proper old school dark rum. Fantastic VFM. A lovely winter addition for the hip flask.
Firstly, I absolutely love the label! The first thing that hits you as you contemplate a sip is the overbearing smell of treacle, the second thing once you’ve taken the plunge is the smoothness inside the mouth, a similar complexity to that of Ron Zacappa 23 ....which is not normally found in a £20 bottle of rum....this is followed by a slow gentle burn which doesn’t outstay it’s welcome. Skipper is a demerara rum and its overriding flavour is treacle...which is to be expected from a molasses based rum....it couldn't taste of anything else! I would say this would be a great addition to any rum enthusiast’s cabinet.
As a standard rum this has to be one of the best. Love it and worth every penny.
