A blend of 6 to 12 year old Puerto Rican rum from the Don Q range. At the top end of their range, the Gran Añejo is very exciting stuff indeed. Enjoy neat or even over a few ice cubes on a warm evening...
Huge, indulgent waves of molasses, barrel char, vanilla and raisin. A touch of tobacco gives it a vegetal edge.
Fruit starts to appear more readily on the palate - less tropical fruits than their other expressions though. More cigar box too.
Drying though rich in vanilla.
