Ron Mulata Añejo 5 Years

5 year old Cuban rum distilled in Heriberto Duquesne, Villa Clara. They characteristically produce a lighter style of rum (which the distillery attributed to the rum being matured in 180 litre oak casks) that suits being enjoyed neat, although this is still rather yummy with a few ice cubes or poured in a simple cocktail.

Nice and Spicy Yum Rum!
I usually have the Mulata three year one which I will stick to but try this one because there wasn’t any three-year available. I would buy it again. It’s a nice strong yet wholesome taste and I do like it. Nice and spicy. Mulata is the best Rum. Especially with tons of ice and Pepsi. Got to be Pepsi!

Very good
One of the best I've tested, in Cuba there are many years it's imposible to come by, all of them are being exported. Nice to find it here.😊

wine or rum?
This Cuban 5 yo starts out with a strong red wine taste, followed by black walnuts, followed by a fairly strong alcohol burn.Complex and unique taste would cover it I guess.Probably would not buy again.
