Rhum J.M XO Reviews

Rhum Agricole but like... doesn't taste of dirt.

"Remember, rhum/rum is all about the sugar!"

Yeah sure, and Whisky is supposed to taste like a tyre fire and Gin is all about the TCP.

This is a really bloody good Rhum Agricole. Not a fan of the younger expressions? The aging takes away a lot of the grassy, vegetal (dirt) notes and makes it very smooth and drinkable.

Great taste

Wonderfull smooth rum.
Still laughing out loud from the 2018 comment that “rum is about sugar”, that is a truly hilarious blunder from a person who clearly does not know a thing about rums

Rhum or Scotch? U decide.

This might be scotch like but I thought I was drinking Rhum? Smooth at the start but dries up a little too much on the finish. Also not much to note? Kind of bland. Is this what premium rhum is suppose to be all about? If so, I'll stick with Eldorado or Pussers 15yr old. For those who hate the added sugar stick with scotch! Remember, rhum/rum is all about the sugar!

Excellent

Very smooth, almost a mature scotch-like mouth feel but with more fruit
