Description

Mount Gay rum, distilled and matured in Barbados, and bottled with a whopping 25-year age statement! This is impressive stuff indeed, and it joins the historic distillery's Exceptionally Aged series. Distilled in 1999, this limited expression is defined by its long maturation under the shared stewardship of three generations of master blenders: Jerry Edwards, Allen Smith, and Trudiann Branker. Bottled at a satisfying 47% ABV, it's a silky sipper with opulent layers of raisin, cinnamon, toffee, and citrus zest, with ginger and cocoa beneath.

Overall

Aromas of vanilla, red fruits, rich caramel, citrus, and dark chocolate. The palate delivers an opulent journey of raisin, warm cinnamon, tangy citrus, smooth toffee, roasted nuts, orange zest, nutmeg, cocoa, and gingerbread, culminating in a long, silky finish.
