This is not a 25yr old Guyanese El Dorado which is exquisite but wow!! The subtle tones of spices and hint of oak with its unique colouring....beautiful. I hope this rum wins lots of awards in the future....
A very smooth and warming rum it doesn't hit the throat like some rums do
Nicest rum I have tasted in ages. So smooth. Can drink it neat, or tastes AMAZING with coconut water or cream soda (old school I know, but so good).
I wasn't expecting much from this to be honest as the only red rum I've had is the Barcardi one which tasted horrid. So glad I gave it a chance though as it's now one of my favourites. Really smooth and lightly spiced flavour, not too sweet but not bland in any way, this is the type of spiced rum I could sit and demolish in one sitting. The bottle looks very nice sat on my shelf amongst the premium rums, think i'll treat myself to another bottle before they disappear.
Especially for these cold winter nights a glass of rum and watching fireworks nothing better!
