The particular rum was distilled in a Forsyths double retort pot still in 2005 over at Jamaica's Long Pond Distillery. Matured in the tropics in bourbon casks for 14 years, in 2019 the pot still rum was independently bottled by Velier at a generous 62% ABV. On the label it states that during its maturation, this rum lost an angel share of 80%, which is pretty wild.

Classic Jamaican funk and root ginger, with a tropical fruit bowl of pineapple, banana and mango, with some oaky vanilla and tobacco in support.
