Description

Another snazzy product of the Appleton Estate rebrand, it's a white rum from the Kingston 62 range (previously known as Appleton White)! It's actually been aged and then charcoal filtered to remove the colour, making it a top cocktail component.

Surprising smooth over ice + lime Dissappears into the background in Pepsi Max But still a nice rum & coke

Good affordable offering from appleton

A nice typical Jamaican white rum which is noticeably better than many other rums especially in the £16-19 price range

Jeremiah Jan 5, 2023

Smooth, but adds little flavour to a cocktail

Bizarrely, I find this palatable, if inoffensive, neat, yet as a mixer therefore, it has no flavour. Since flavour is what I am after, it only gets 4/10. I guess it all depends on what you're looking for in a mixer, but if you want something smooth to sit in the background, this might work.
