Wray and Nephew The best-selling high proof rum in the world. 90% of rum sales in Jamaica are of Wray and Nephew. Overproof is a very potent spirit indeed!

Overall

The nose is fruity. Notes of molasses and spice. The palate is fruity and a little spirity. There are notes of banana and Demerara as well as spice and a little oak. The finish is long and spiced.

Jamaican moonshine

Imagine a clear liquor that, instead of corn, has the underlying flavor of sugarcane but with all of the kick of moonshine and you can imagine what this tastes like. A few shots will put you on your butt for sure. Great taken in shots (dont forget the chaser) or in mixed drinks.
