A lovely spiced rum from Mauritius, Green Island Gold is fabulous in a Dirty Mojito!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cloves and allspice, notes of vanilla too, with hints of mace, stem ginger and candied peels. Very inviting.
Palate
Spiced and thick, very full with notes of buttery toffee with oodles of cinnamon, maple syrup and a little note of Golden Syrup too, with a core of cloves and nutmeg.
Finish
Long and warming, notes of lime and pepper on the tail.
