Foursquare Principia
An excellent release from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados, bottled by Italy's Velier. Principia is rum distilled back in 2008 that was initially aged in bourbon casks for 3 years, before being transferred over to sherry casks, where it slumbered for a further 6 years. It was then bottled at a full-on 62% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Rich mahogany and dense vanilla. Punchy dark fruit and Christmas spice - think raisins and plums dusted with nutmeg and cinnamon. Pecan, menthol and a touch of citrus.
