East London Liquor Rum

The vibrant bottle hails from East London Liquor Co., and holds within it an equally vibrant rum! It brings together spirits from three well-known Jamaican distilleries, with 80% of it made up of pot and column still rums, and the other 20% is comprised of funky Jamaican pot still rum. One for those who like fruity, high ester flavours, and the folks from the distillery recommend it in a Daiquiri!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Ripe banana and pineapple, with a scattering of that classic Jamaican funk alongside icing sugar and white pepper.

Reviews for East London Liquor Co. Rum
Great Value/Funky Boi
Everything I love about Jamaican rum and somehow sub-£30. Full-flavoured, fruity and versatile - my go to for daiquiris.

Packed full of flavour
Such a refreshing change from those bland, boring, vodka-like, neutral styles of white rum from the big brands. This is packed full of flavour and is simply delicious.

Funky
Fruity, funky, non-squeaky clean rum, not your grandmother’s rum. Insane value. Almost an Agricole style, great for a daiquiri which is really the only drink isn’t it.

Would not recommend.
Tastes of chemicals. Did they get the cut wrong and include a bunch of fusel oils?

Avoid if you like rum
Undrinkable, tastes and smells of chemicals

A top white rum, that's a step up from Cuban styles
I love this rum - it's different from your Cuban-style whites rums, and has that slightly oily herbaceous quality you'll get from Wray and Nephews or similar. A great drop for cocktail mixing.

Mmmmmm not great.
Mmmmmm not great. Had a bit of hype but its pretty plain and boring to be honest. Much better white rums out there for similar price tag.
