A fantastic aged rum from the Doorly's range, featuring Bajan rum from the Foursquare Distillery which has enjoyed a second maturation in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks. This extra maturation imparts a wealth of fruit, dark chocolate and oaky spices to the rum's flavour profile, making this an excellent choice for sipping neat. Not only that, it's got a pretty good bird on the label. Bonus.

I am very new to the world of whiskys and rums so feel free to take as much or as little from this review as you like but personally I was dissapointed with this rum. At first you get a nice sweet taste, not overpowering but definitely noticeable. Unfortunately this is replaced very quickly with an alcohol burn/taste. It just isn't as smooth as rums I have tried in the past such as Sailor Jerry's and Lamb's. I personally will not be buying or sampling any more of this particular rum.
