Puerton Rican rum has been finished in Cognac casks in this release from Don Q. Initially the rum is matured in American oak barrels for five to eight years, before it gets the Cognac treatment for an additional two years.
Molasses, dried mango and raisins, warm oak tannins, and baking spices.
