Regard: the 2005 vintage of Diplomático Venezuelan rum! Exceptionally rich and indulgent stuff, which has enjoyed a year finishing period in oloroso sherry casks. Very much an after-dinner dram, this stuff...

For drinking straight. Diplomatico is that smooth.
Complex, with sweet aromas of chocolate and tea, dried fig and caramelised banana, but still too much burn on the finish for me. Diluted with a little water, it's much better.
