Decadent Drinks and Rum Sponge (which sounds awfully similar to Whisky Sponge, doesn't it...?) have gone and bottled up a particularly funky rum right here! This is a 29 year old rum from Jamaica, drawn from a pair of refill barrels and bottled up at cask strength. Huge estery notes aplenty with this one. A release of 480 bottles.
Ripe banana, pine, liquorice, oily salinity, polished oak, a touch of mint.
