Irish Rum sounds wrong. But this is sooo right.
Sacrilege I know, but this made a really impressive Rum Manhattan.
Deep, dark and tastes of burnt caramel but not overtly sweet.
It’s quite pokey so if you can’t afford a galleon a couple of these and you’ll feel like your on one.

Be brave, go for it!
You need to be in the mood for this, but when you are it's worth it! I messaged Copeland on Facebook and they recommended over ice with an orange peel, perfect! Def let the ice melt just a touch as 57% it packs a punch, the flavours are unreal. Love!

Full in your face great legs
I have this rum, its full in you face, it needs a mixer to soften a little and has great legs. a dark rum with great flavour of all the above, Strong

Not worth the cost
A rum of this price should be a zipper but I'm sadly disappointed, even with a few drops of water to mellow the bite. Interesting nose thanks to the pinot noir casks. Really acrid taste straight out the blocks, a bit overwhelming and I prefer a ethonol punch. Very disappointing, a maple old fashioned mix just about saves it. Gutted.

Beautiful Bottle. Full Flavour.
I'm sipping one over ice as I type. The bottle is beautifully labelled and sealed with matching red wax. The smell is quite intense, but boy! the flavour!!! Quite smooth and sweet with hints of vanilla and orange. My old bottles have made beautiful candle holders. Treat yourself!

Local rum
Brilliant rum. Great for sipping or with coke. Only one major problem. The bottle, its not see through so you could be in for a serious disappointment if you suddenly find you've an empty bottle lol. Tip always have a spare in the cupboard!

Excellent
Complex nose flavour and finish. One to have late at night. I am getting over ripe bananas on the nose. Ginger and spice, pepper finish.

Boyzadear! This is special.
Couldn't wait to try this Rum distilled in my home town. The Copeland Distillery had converted me to drinking the odd Gin, but this was something special. Very strong (57%), so you need to be careful as it's really easy to drink. Take it neat over ice, in a Cuba Libre, or with Ginger Beer and Lime. Fantastic stuff.
