Cihuatán Sahumerio hails from El Salvador, and is named after sahumerio, a vessel used to burn offerings to the Mayan eagle goddess Chantico. The flavour profile of the rum was inspired by these different offerings, which range from incense and dried flowers to honey and cacao. A suitably fragrant rum with a pretty awesome back story!
