
Botanique Botanical White Rum is very much a rum but is also, brilliantly, slightly like a gin. You know how gin is made by infusing botanicals into a neutral spirit? Well imagine doing that but instead using fine Caribbean white rum as a base, then adding delicious spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cassia as well as orange peel and some natural cane sugar to give you a botanically bolstered, perfectly spiced rum.
The difference is clear to see. That's a play on the fact that it's a spiced rum, but it's also white. Which isn't common. Get it? This is very interesting stuff, people.
There's an array of aromas here including waxy orange peel, rich and aromatic baking spice, Coconut Snowballs, mango, and raspberry.
An oily, viscous palate contains notes of banana custard, creamy nuttiness, cinnamon, orange yogurt, and fresh tropical fruit.
Well-spiced and delicately sweet.
