A rum from Fiji, distilled in 2004 using local molasses and aged at origin in American oak for 19 years in a single barrel (cask 15). Independently released by Bedford Park at a cask strength of 57.6% ABV without additives.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Brown sugar, vanilla, dried coconut, banana chips and warm oak.
Palate
Molasses richness, baked tropical fruit, caramelised nuts and gentle spice.
Finish
Long and warming with oak tannin, sugarcane sweetness and lingering fruit.
