A rather intriguing bottling of rum from the Foursquare distillery in Barbados. The spirit was distilled in 2008 and was given a 12-month finishing period in casks that previously aged Marsala wine. It was then bottled at 55% in November 2017 by Danish bottler 1423. A release of just 371 bottles.
Brown sugar with underlying fruity esters and charred oak. Chocolate cake, plum wine and menthol.
