Martins de Sá Tawny Port Bottling Note

Martins de Sa' Tawny Port is bottled in Portugal at 19.5% ABV, after being aged in the classic tawny style - which means the use casks instead of large tanks or bottles favoured with other port types. This maturation process, combined with the use of wines selected for their smooth and mellow character, gives a silky, subtle body that just screams sangria - or is that just me?

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Aromas of sweet, red fruit jam and dried fruit linger playfully.

Palate: Smooth, fine wood is joined by hazelnut and vanilla to temper the sweet fruity tones.

Finish: Medium length, with a slightly acidic finish.

Martins de Sá Tawny Port Reviews

Highly drinkable

Tried this at a tasting and loved it, it is really smooth and not the heavy style of port i remember trying before. I also had it in a rum cocktail and it was absolutely lovely.
