Mint choc chip ice cream in a bottle, or so we imagine. This mint chocolate liqueur dates from the 80s.
Can still taste it just thinking about it. Very saddened to learn it has been discontinued.
Bought a bottle in 1974 in Brussels, and it’s still in my cabinet after moving to the US!!! Just a little left. Tastes as equisite as the day I bought it!!! It seems to have survived the maker, Peter Hallgarten. I can’t find any information about him. 12/27/2022
Turns coffee into liquid after eight mints superb. looking for more.
This liqueur was one of my favourite Christmas memories as a child, seeing my mum enjoy the lovely tipple. I was just about old enough to try it myself, before it became very difficult to get hold of. Just like drinking an after eight mint, but smoother than some of the mint choc creamy drinks you find nowadays.
