Legendario's Elixir De Cuba is a created using a blend of aged Cuban rum and raisin extracts and brought down to 34% ABV. A light, relaxed punch, perfect for a warm summer evening. Maybe serve it over ice, throw a couple fresh berries in there, perhaps one of those tiny umbrellas if they still make those. Someone must still make them.
Dates, pecans, orange peel, cinnamon, mango and coconut.
Like many here, I was given this after a meal in corfu, I had it neat as a shot wow fantastic! Went back the next evening waiter asked what would you like, said I’ll have that drink you gave me after my meal last night with Diet Coke, like asking a whisky drinker having a whisky and pep seemingly ??just have it with ice said the growling owner! BEAUTIFUL enjoy
What an unusual drink. It tastes sweet but not cloyingly so. Bags of raisiny fruity taste. Quite good as a sipping rum, but having read some of the other reviews I'll order more to experiment with different additives. Looking forward to it.
