Vecchio Amaro Del Capo Bottling Note
Made at the Caffo distillery in Italy to an old family recipe, the Vecchio Amaro Del Capo is a richly aromatic liqueur featuring 29 different Calabrian herbs and roots. This finely-tuned blend results in a liqueur full of earthy, wonderfully bitter flavours (part of which comes from the quinine in the recipe). The recommended serving temperature of this liqueur is -20°C, so enjoy it chilled after dinner to make the most of this classic amaro.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Wonderfully bitter and balanced, with quinine and sweet honey notes intertwined alongside mint, liquorice, a burst of orange zest and aromatic clove.

I am mildly addicted
Very nice tipple. Warming, bitter (but not overly), and the sweetness nicely offsets. Does not taste like the strength it is.

Delicious and strong.
It’s delicious and will knock you on your ass. The smooth and sweet taste is warm and spicy, and is deceptive of its strength.
I bought a bottle from a convenience shop in Livorno Italy and… wow!

Pure nectar
This is superb. And, with additional medicinal benefits! An excellent Amaro.

My new favourite Amaro
Has taken top spot as my new favourite Amaro, replacing Averna. A great tasting Amaro at its best served chilled. Would highly recommend!
