To my untutored palate, it'd seem that if you like bitterness and cinnamon, you'll like Becherovka! I was looking for a more affordable and readily available alternative to Zwack Unicum and - while this doesn't and couldn't possibly replace that fine liquor - it's excellent in its own right. I was encouraged to revisit this spirit by Henry Chevalier Guild from Aspalls. Try it with bitter lemon, he said. He was right: it's a great alternative to a G&T. Herbal and delightfully bitter, it's also in the same ballpark as another excellent product on this site, the wonderful 'Kamm & Sons' ginseng spirit.
