Jaffa Cake Gin

Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Jaffa Cake Gin to you in United States at the moment. We're working on a solution.

Jaffa Cake Gin Bottling Note

Consider the Jaffa cake. A timeless treat. Now, if something is delicious, chances are someone will make a gin with it, and that’s exactly what has happened here. Jaffa Cake Gin is distilled with oranges, fresh orange peel, cocoa powder and Jaffa cakes. Actual Jaffa cakes. As in “Right, we could eat these yummy Jaffa cakes, or we could put the Jaffa cakes in this vacuum still and make Jaffa Cake Gin.” It’s that kind of situation. The result is just like you’d expect - full-on Jaffa cake tastiness built around a distinctive base of crisp juniper. The label claims it’ll make the best Negroni mankind has ever seen, but we’ll let you be the judge of that one - though you will get top marks if you stick a Jaffa cake on your glass like a citrus wheel garnish.

Speaking of Negronis... We've got just the thing, with our Jaffa Cake Gin Negroni Bundle! Everything you need all in one handy place, and it even saves you some shiny coins. It's like the icing on the (Jaffa) cake.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Zingy orange (marmalade-esque) is swiftly overtaken by a rich and earthy chocolate undertone. Hints of vanilla-rich cake and just a touch of almondy-goodness. A solid backbone of juniper brings up the rear.

Palate: Jaffa cakes! Perhaps not surprising, but the resemblance is uncanny. Nice balance and great poise. The flavour never oversteps the mark - this is still resolutely 'a gin'. Delicately sweet - not sickly or in any way liqueur-like.

Finish: The orange-y palate fades into unctuous hot cocoa, and a note of bitter dark chocolate remains to the last, ably shored up by the piney tang from the juniper.

Overall: Does what it says on the tin, this one. Nicely integrated, and extremely crowd-pleasing.

Jaffa Cake Gin Reviews

brilliant

Could not believe how you can taste every bit of the jaffa cake

15th September 2020

Don't try rest have the best

I've been buying Jaffacake gin for a few months now and I can honestly say its amazing,it really does taste like a Jaffacake we love it.

30th August 2020

excellent

my wife and her freind loved it the bottle only lasted 3 day defo buy it again

29th August 2020

Not for me

Unfortunately it was that bad I have it away. First Gin I disliked so much

23rd August 2020

Sounds good, tastes awful.

Absolutely awful, more chocolate than orange,it might taste better with orange juice than tonic water but I honestly couldn't finish my glass.

23rd August 2020

Pretty darn good!

Either you are reading this because the idea intrigued you or you are part of the strange Venn diagram of gin and jaffa cakes lover but no matter what, this is worth a try!
It's not as expensive as some other gins but it certainly is a lot different.

- On the nose:
This is still a gin, and thus it has a relatively strong smell of juniper on first whiff, but once you get acclimated to it, it gets really hard to not pick up strong notes of sweet orange marmelade with a tinge of bitterness from the dark chocolate.
You could have a glass of relatively neutral gin next of a half eaten jaffa cake and smell both at the same time, you wouldn't be that far off from it.

- On the palate:
Starts bitter for me with the juniper being forward then mellows out into the dark chocolate and ends with the tangy orange sweetness that lingers well over the finish. Every now and then a taste of pine tree shows up out of nowhere, not sure if it's the wood notes I am getting or if my brain is confused with another spice.

- Overall:
An excellent balancing act between the gin part and the flavor of the jaffa cake, at no point in time it feels overbearing or just overly sweet like some other gin liqueurs, everything feels and taste at the right place and I couldn't ask for anything more.
I rather prefer it neat but I can name a couple of cocktails where it would be amazingly great.

1st August 2020

Works well with Clementine tonic & slices of Chilli!

This Jaffa Cake worked well with Lime Slices (a bit of zest too) and with Clementine tonic and some slices of hot red chilli! Try it!!

27th July 2020

Tastes exactly as named. Loved it!

I loved it. Smells and tastes just like Jaffa Cakes! I love Jaffa Cakes and gin, couldn’t imagine the two together... but thought... ‘What the hell, life’s too short, I need to try this’. And I’m glad I did. I really enjoyed it, as did many of my friends.

26th July 2020

Jaffa heaven in a glass

Had to try this and wasn't disappointed as truly hits the total combination of a jaffa cake biscuit but double the pleasure in a drink. Was given mine as a present but will defo be purchasing another very soon !!!!

24th July 2020

Not a 5 minute fad.

Great balanced Gin. If you could drink a melted alcoholic Jaffa cake then this would be it. Try it and enjoy.

23rd July 2020

Delicious in a Negroni or on it's own on Ice

Very good in a Negroni , lovely and sweet for sweet gin lovers and also strong ( unlike many gin liqueurs which are a low 20% )

20th July 2020

Works surprisingly well

I am not a gin fan, but I felt this was surprisingly well balanced, the nose is lovely and the chocolate and orange cuts through the gin in just about the right way.

19th July 2020

Works for me!

Just ordered my second bottle of this, and there will be more before the summer is out without question. If you're looking for a classic London Dry Gin then this very obviously isn't for you, but as flavoured, fun and crucially, delicious gins go, you can't beat it.

13th July 2020

Amazeballs

Omg! It was epic. Jaffa cake heaven 😀

11th July 2020

Another gin gimmick

Can't see this latest fad lasting long. Too sweet and far removed from decent gin.

10th July 2020

Best flavoured gin I've ever tasted!

This gin is honestly the best flavoured gin I've ever tasted. I've bought this for 5 of my friends already and all of them have loved it! I plan on trying the Negroni Cocktail Bundle next. Love the packaging too.

6th July 2020

It's a lot of fun, as a drink should be!

You absolute nutters! This is stupidly good. Choose your mixer and cocktail wisely, it's not universally amazing but on the whole, a fantastic gin.

1st July 2020

Not for me

Too sweet for me.I like an orange gin but I found this one tasted overpoweringly of chocolate.

25th June 2020

Not for me

Too alcoholic tasting for me and a bit sickly. Will stick to 'plain gin' and mixers.
Cannot fault the delivery time and packaging

25th June 2020

fab in everything but g&T

don't try it in a G&T but it's sooo good in everything else

18th June 2020

Not for me

Love Jaffa Cakes.....but not in gin. It just didn’t work for me, despite trying with a variety of mixers. But my friend liked it, so I’m giving her the rest of the bottle.

17th June 2020

Not so good

Not impressed really I have an incredible sweet tooth but this was very sickly. Will try again with a different mixer but not value for money.

13th June 2020

Absolutely delicious.

Absolutely delicious. This is truly alcoholic Jaffa Cake but not sickly sweet. The orange flavour with the taste of chocolate in the background is uncanny. A piece of blending wizardry!!

13th June 2020

Will definitely be buying more

Really nice

12th June 2020

have it in a negroni!!

the orange filling comes through so well in a negroni, honestly my go to gin for it now!

9th June 2020

Superb!

Tried this in a few cocktails in place of regular gin like Gordons and it really adds a new twist. Probably wouldn’t work in everything, but definitely one I’m going to keep on hand.

9th June 2020

new favourite gin

I cannot get enough of this stuff, the flavour is so perfect I just can't believe it.

8th June 2020

Lots of chocolate, very little orange!

Would have loved some of the zingy orange hit you get from the Jaffa cakes... this had a much more chocolatey vibe

6th June 2020

Rotten

rotten

31st May 2020

No no

Save some money and buy some biscuits! Not gin!

31st May 2020

Perfect

Received as a birthday gift. Absolutely gorgeous. Will be back for more.

30th May 2020

Jaffa cake gin - too good!

It’s great, probably too good! I drink mine in a negroni, not put the Jaffa cake on the side - but give it time!

24th May 2020

Not for me

It tasted like Jaffa cakes, if that what you want from gin, it’s for you

23rd May 2020

Already bought 4 bottles

The flavour is amazing, exactly like real Jaffa cakes. Maybe that’s not so surprising as there are Jaffa cakes in it, but I can’t believe how perfectly the flavour of them comes through.

23rd May 2020

More Chocolate than Orange

Sadly, this wasn’t as nice as I’d hoped. It tasted very chocolatey and hardly any orange. In my opinion, ruins a good Negroni. Gutted!

21st May 2020

Delicious

Wow wow wow, absolutely delicious.
Subtle hint of orange then an explosion of chocolate, yes please.

20th May 2020

😕

Wish it was vegan but amazing taste

19th May 2020

Will be ordering more...

Oh, this is divine...heavenly chocolate as you sip and then fresh, citrussy, zesty orange. Not at all sickly, perfect to sip straight or a long drink with tonic. Summer in a glass...

18th May 2020

Delicious!

Amazing! Great with lemonade 😍

Super fast delivery too 😊

18th May 2020

Bliss in a glass

One of the best flavoured gins I've ever tried, best way to describe is like dunking a Jaffa Cake into a glass of gin, life doesn't get much better.

16th May 2020

Delish JCG.

Ordered this as I 'love' Jaffa Cakes. I can eat a whole box in 2 minutes. Lol.

To be honest I was in two minds about if it would taste like Jaffa Cakes or be a sickly impression.

OMG pure Jaffa Cake bliss!

° If you like Jaffa Cakes get a bottle
° If you 'love' Jaffa Cakes get several.

Very prompt delivery.

Thanks guys for making lockdown more bearable.

Will definitely be ordering more. I suspect Sooner rather than Later.

15th May 2020

Delicious

I adore it and I don’t usually go for flavoured gins. This is delicious and love the Jaffa cake flavour.

15th May 2020

Prefer real Jaffa Cakes !

I tried this blind but found it a bit sickly. Too focused on the choc and not enough orange...

14th May 2020

So authentic

Birthday present off my son! Absolutely delicious so tasty and authentic, really taste the Jaffa cakes even a hint of chocolate in there too!

13th May 2020

So much better than Gin 😊

I'm not a drinker but fancied this only because I love jaffa cakes.. I mix it with orange juice but I don't use alot.. Its very scrummy indeed.. I'm tempted to drink again now.. I'm now trying the bakewell tart one! Lol

13th May 2020

Great taste but at a high price

Funny old thing it tastes of Jaffa Cakes especially neat with ice, and just as good with tonic water although you loose some of the strength on taste. The question is would I buy it again at £27.95 a bottle plus the postage ? TBH Its probs a no but if it was £20 a bottle it would be a YES.

12th May 2020

Does exactly what it says on the bottle

This is delicious. Not too sweet. It does exactly what it says on the bottle. So good I’ve already bought another bottle.

11th May 2020

I can’t believe how good this is

Already on my 3rd bottle, and everyone I’ve given this to has raced about it. Witchcraft.

9th May 2020

Enjoyed it

I've never heard of anyone who dislikes Jaffa cakes, the wife especially eats her share, so when i saw this beverage a month or so back, decided to treat her/us so slipped a bottle into my MoM order for a laugh. Now, i'm a malt whisky and dark rum man, i dont much believe in all the hype surrounding gin, it's something that anyone can make in their shed, just distill white spirit, add fruit and botanicals (whatever they are) give it a week or two, and hey presto, instant easy profit from the gullible, so was initially unsure i'd like such a gimmick, but gave it a fair go, and really enjoyed this drink in a tall glass with plenty of ice and decent tonic water. It just tastes of jaffa cakes (Duh) but not overpoweringly so, and i reckon i could do the whole bottle in one go if i wanted, it's that easy to sup, so if you are curious i would say give it a go, you wont regret it.

7th May 2020

Excellent choice

OMG, it tastes like Jaffa cakes.
Lush!!

6th May 2020

Could fix a chocolate craving!

I think this is the first time I’ve ever something professing to taste exactly like something else which really really does!! It’s fab, tastes amazing but it is also just so surreal to drink Jaffa Cakes! Not sure whether to just guzzle my bottle or save it to share when all the madness eases.... may just have to get another bottle 🤣

5th May 2020

Delicious

Absolutely lovely with lemonade and lots of ice - thank you so much

5th May 2020

Very nice

I got this today had it with lemonade and ice Very Nice

5th May 2020

Absolutely no comparison

Omg! I have just received my bottle and I'm in love. It tastes so nice and it really is jaffa cakes. Will definitely be getting more

5th May 2020

Chocolate after taste

This is amazing. I mixed mine with Schweppes salty lemon tonic. Highly recommend it.

4th May 2020

Does what it says on the label.

Interesting flavour. Worked nicely ina Negroni and was also quite nice with straight tonic water and a slice of orange. The chocolate was a hint in the taste and not too over powering. Nice mix! Would buy again.

3rd May 2020

Absolutely beautiful Gin

Beautiful, went down a treat 👏🏻

2nd May 2020

Lovely tangy flavour

Absolutely gorgeous with lemonade and lots of ice

1st May 2020

Jaffa Cake in a glass

I almost didn't believe the reviews.....but this is absolutely like a jaffa cake. Orange heavy, but real chocolate and even sponge notes in the scent and the taste is a joy.

30th April 2020

Just brilliant!!!!

Just recieved this with next day delivery and OH MY DAYS!!!! the description of the different sections & timings of flavours is perfect! It definitely gives your senses a trip through jaffa cake gin lane haha. Just amazing

29th April 2020

Insane!

Never write reviews but omg this is incredible stuff tastes amazing. Not too sweet but tangy and chocolatey

29th April 2020

Very good indeed

This is a very nice gin . Really hits the choc orange taste buds. Will be ordering more .

29th April 2020

Would deffinatel recommend

This is lovely. You get orange at first then lovely chocolate. Yummy.

26th April 2020

Tangy, tasty and Tingling taste buds!

This didn’t disappoint those tingling taste buds! Not too sweet which is what I was afraid of, very tangy, great jaffa cake taste to it not just orange flavour. Defo one for the top drawer! 🍊

24th April 2020

Absolutely Delicious

This gin is absolutely amazing! It IS Jaffa Cake! The most favourite gin I've ever tasted (and I taste a lot 😂) If you love Jaffa Cakes and you love gin then I highly recommend this.

24th April 2020

Amazing gin- just like Jaffa Cakes!

Honestly the best gin I’ve ever had! Tastes exactly like a Jaffa Cake! Will be purchasing more ASAP!

24th April 2020

Heaven in a glass

I love different gins and this one topped my list. It’s absolutely amazing! Heaven in a glass. All my friends on Facebook wanted to know where I got it and are so jealous I have some (not much left now). It tastes just like Jaffa cakes and I’ve no idea how they did it but I’m so glad they did. Great service and was delivered within 48 hours. Will definitely be ordering from these guys again.

23rd April 2020

Godly

Always hated gin before this. But oh my god. This is insane. Not too sweet like liqueur, not too rough like tonic gin. Heaven. Oof!

22nd April 2020

What jaffa cake wizard developed this??

It's jaffa cake. Liquid, alcoholic jaffa cake. Simple as. It smells just of gin until you add mixer, in my case lemonade, then all of a sudden it smells just like it.

Taste wise, it's ridiculous how jaffa cakey this really is. I can even taste the sponge. I don't know what dark magic went into production for this, but I will absolutely be buying more.

20th April 2020

Fantastic product and service

Bought this as a present, they absolutely loved it

18th April 2020

Fantastic! Buy it, you will not be disappointed

I really did not expect this to taste like Jaffa cakes but boy oh boy, this is fantastic. Can’t see it lasting long so have ordered another bottle. If you like Jaffa cakes you will love this!

15th April 2020

Do you like Jaffa Cakes? Do you like gin?

Do you like Jaffa Cakes? Do you like gin? If the answer to both questions is yes, then you must buy a bottle as that's what's inside it! A smooth and easy drink, and very more-ish, too!

15th April 2020

Just buy it !

This is the Heston Blumenthal of gin !! It mess’s with your mind ! Exactly what it says on the bottle, you feel like you’ve just eaten a Jaffa Cake, absolutely brilliant. Second bottle already ordered

14th April 2020

Sweet, fun gin that manages to capture the exact flavour.

WTF is this sorcery? How did they manage to get that exact flavour in there? Lots of people moaning about it not being 'ginny' enough, but what you would expect when the label says jaffa cake flavour? You can just buy a straight gin and then if you like jaffa cakes, buy this one, it doesn't seem that difficult really. Defo recommended if you have a sweet tooth, novelty alcopop? ...maybe but it has a place in the drinks cabinet I feel.

13th April 2020

Too sweet

Definite chocolate and orange but not even a hint of anything even resembling gin. Too sweet for me

7th April 2020

It tastes *exactly* like Jaffa cakes

The flavour is uncanny - it doesn’t come through on the nose really unless you add some soda (which I’d recommend) but the palate is literally identical to Jaffa Cake.

I mean... it’s liquid Jaffa Cake. Seriously, get some Jaffa Cakes, eat them, then drink this. Same. Fucking same. They’re the same.

This = Jaffa Cakes.

7th April 2020

Love it love it love it

Already on my second bottle, can’t get enough.

5th April 2020

Does what it states...good for one awaseome drink

Oh but it is in a bottle....very clever big oranges and then sniffs of chocolate ....one drink is fab...

4th April 2020

Jaffa cakes!

This does taste of jaffa cakes but just tastes wrong.... This should not be in a bottle!

17th March 2020

What’s not to like?

I mean... Jaffa cakes? Yes please. Gin? Yes please!! Jaffa Cake Gin? YES PLEASE!!!!

5th March 2020

Full moon. Half moon.

Total eclipse.
