
An interesting barrel-aged offering from the gang at Wyrd Gin in the New Forest. This edition spent time in a Port cask, offering rich layers of oak and dark fruit to complement the herbaceous, zesty botanicals. Ought to work rather well in a Martinez cocktail.
Woody spice and vibrant juniper are joined by anise and a hint of marmalade, while elegant notes of vinous jammy red fruits and tannic oak linger.
