This dry, juniper led gin has been designed for the much loved G'n'T. Chase distil their Naked vodka from cider made from organically grown apples, they then distil their gin from the vodka. The result is a delicious gin with notes of spice and citrus fruit.
Nose: The aroma is fittingly juniper forward with warm spicy notes of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate: The palate is dry and full-bodied with a citrus quality with spice at the back, followed by a large helping of juniper.
Finish: The finish retains that ever present spiciness but with a refreshing touch of citrus zest and a hint of apple.
Overall: This well-constructed gin displays refreshing notes of citrus with warm spice, and makes for a fantastic G'n'T.

I have had many gin and tonics, over many years, with many different garnishes, different concentrations, different ice sizes...you know what I mean. This is one of my favourite gins. I really don't like the Elegant Crisp Gin. This on the other hand, is their best expression, in my opinion - Mifune

I'd like to know how recently you have tasted this gin? My partner and I were huge fans and we had a bottle that just tasted as if had lost its citrus flavour and gained a more spirit tast of brandy or schnapps. We contacted Williams and they sent another bottle which is slightly better however, alas, just not the same in our opinion and we are hugely disappointed. I would be interested to have your thoughts. Williams did advise they have changed their process recently

Got a bottle of this at Gatwick at a promotional price - wonderful as a taster followed by a G&T on warm nights. This really did the job and is thoroughly recommended.
