While the original Whitley Neill Gin is inspired by the exotic flavours of Africa, their Rhubarb & Ginger Gin variation takes inspiration from closer to the Whitley family's homestead.
Enjoyably fruity on the nose, with rhubarb preserve and baked apple. Hints of leafy herbs grow in the background.
Orange, ginger and coriander arrive on the palate, though it's still dominated by rhubarb. A core of earthy juniper builds.
A tangy touch of tartness appears later on, balanced by black pepper and gingerbread.

Far too synthetic tasting. We tried it with the suggested mixers and a few of our own. However we soon tired of the taste altogether.
Gorgeous. With tonic, reminiscent of swizzels sherbert lollies. Favourite gin at the moment.
Best Rhubarb gin I've tasted. Like rhubarb and custard sweets. Been given as a gift twice from a friend. Looking forward to trying other flavours from Whitley Neill.
Absolutely disgusting! Has nothing to do with gin - more like an alcoholic confectionary.
Love this gin
