I was bought a bottle of this for my birthday since I'm very much a gin drinker, but this really doesn't taste like any other gin I've ever tried! The Parma Violets totally overwhelm any gin flavourings that might be in there, and no amount of tonic improved the taste because the pungent florals blast everything else out of existence. This is really one for those who loved Parma Violet sweets as a kid, but if you want a gin for a G&T, steer clear.
