Umodzi Gin

Umodzi Gin is a superb expression featuring a host of ingredients from across Africa, and distilled in Johannesburg, South Africa. The base spirit is made from sugarcane from Eswatini, and its botanicals include three types of cardamom (from Cameroon, Ghana, and Ethiopia), Moroccan coriander seed, mango from Malawi, black pepper and orchard nutmeg from Nigeria, and plenty more. Brilliantly flavoursome and complex, and it's excellent for use in cocktails and G&Ts.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Earthy spices arrive first, with a touch of peppery heat building. Fresh mango and soft citrus sweetness mellows the spice, with oily juniper bringing it all together.

Awesome Gin
Firstly, the bottle design is outrageous; so unique, so stand out. Luckily the taste of the gin matches the design - superb.

I was a little unsure about a time made using sugarcane, however I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it is.

Amazing drink
Amazing drink this not a fan off gin but when I tried this with some pineapple juice 😋 think it's my new go to drink would definitely recommend it to anyone

New gin, first taste, absolutely superb *****
I'm not usually one for new things but so glad I tried this.
I think it was the cardamom that hooked me, i do luv cardamom spice!
This is a really interesting flavour and top quality product. A lot of care has gone into this. Miles better than other premium gins.
At this price I'm tempted to stock-up!
