Thunderflower Gin Bottling Note

A London dry gin all the way from Devon, made with a combination of 11 botanicals extracted by vapour infusion. The recipe includes juniper, sage, green cardamom, black cardamom, angelica, elderflower, cassia, liquorice, pink peppercorn and more. The name comes from a type of small white flower the can grow on the roofs of thatched houses which, according to the lore, could ward off both lightning and witchcraft. Handy if you're plagued by thunderstorms and witches.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Enjoyably green and vegetal, the sage and eldeerflower shining through. Juniper is strong and oily, with hints of liquorice and angelica bringing soft sweetness to the mix.

Stunningly tasty!!

Simply stunning!! Tried this gin while on holidays and wishing it was available in Australia.. mix with only the best tonic or even on it’s own. Bravo Thunderflower.. oh and the label and bottle are stunning too

I highly recommend this distinctive and tasty gin!

A friend of mine loves Thunderflower Gin and suggested I try it - I am so pleased that I did! It is now my 'go to' gin. I really like the unusual and tasty mix of botanicals and it is so so smooth! The bottle looks fantastic on display in my spirits cabinet too :) I highly recommend this - it's a real gin-lovers gin!

A lovely drop

I had the opportunity to taste Thunderflower gin at my wedding last year in Spain and we loved it. I was lucky enough to be able to bring a bottle back with me to Australia where I've been sharing it with close friends. I love the spiciness of this gin and have been paring it with a fevertree elderflower tonic. I also enjoy this gin with a single cube of ice. Five stars from me!!

Really great gin

Had this gin at a wedding in the UK last year, it was wonderful. Brought a bottle back to France and it has been a real hit with guests. In fact it's the only gin I've ever tried that is also nice to drink neat, the blend of botanicals they use gives it a complex flavour while also being subtle enough to mix well. Very highly recommended.

Wonderful experience!

This is probably going into my top 5 of all time. Elderflower and Sage as botanicals works wonders in this fantastic smooth Gin.

Good gin

I have been wanting to try this gin for a while now as I have heard some good things about it and seems quite rare. The gin is smooth, strong juniper, peppery with a spicy cardamom hit which I like. Really good in a G&T. Recommended.
