The Blowing Stone London Dry Gin

The Blowing Stone London Dry Gin is made in West Berkshire, and takes its name from a stone that King Alfred the Great used to summon troops to the Battle of Ashdown back in the year 871. Not only that, the gin also features botanicals that would have grown wild (or been readily available) at the time, including meadowsweet, gorse, elderflower, and even honey! It's a little bit like tasting history, except... Y'know, no time travelling or anything like that.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Enjoyably herbaceous and earthy, with a touch of vanilla coming in to help with the balance, carried on a brilliantly creamy spirit.
