If you like rhubarb, and you like gin, you might think the idea of combining the two is a solid one. It makes sense. Two great tastes that taste great together. Well, if you are indeed in that boat, then you're in luck, because That Boutique-y Gin Company clearly agrees with you, and in turn made an intensely rhubarby gin, dubbed... Well, Rhubarb Gin! Stupendous in a Spritz, and excellent in a G&T.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Bright, fruity, almost jammy rhubarb, with enough peppery juniper to stop is from becoming sickly sweet.
Palate Still packs plenty of authentic rhubarb notes, with a touch of spicy pepper and anise, while piney juniper remains constant.
Finish Lingering tanginess of rhubarb once more.
