Louche Lemon Decadence Gin (That Boutique-y Gin Company)
Louche Lemon Decadence Gin from That Boutique-y Gin Company features a punchy combo of Amalfi and Sorrento lemon peels at its heart. This tasty rascal is brimming with essential oil from distillation, meaning that it will louche (go cloudy) when mixed with tonic water. Immensely refreshing stuff. The label also features a relaxed though sophisticated lemon, lounging around like a cat who has got the cream through devious means. You could almost say it looked particularly... Louche.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fragrant citrus top notes followed up by subtle juniper and a light hint of spicy peppercorn.
Palate
Bright lemon peel notes, both fresh and candied - almost leaning towards lemon cheesecake at points. A touch of ginger develops underneath.
Finish
Yet more lemon! Cloudy lemonade and citrus oil. Just a hint of cardamom spiciness remains.
