Tanqueray Rangpur

Something different here from Tanqueray. This gin is flavoured with Rangpur limes, also known as a mandarin orange. These highly acidic fruits, actually orange in colour, impart a fresh, zesty zing to this refreshing gin. Roll on summer!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Lots of zest on the nose, fresh citrus peel and just-cut botanicals.

Palate Not as sharp and citric as the nose suggests, instead offering a pleasantly balanced gin flavour that's instantly recognisable as Tanqueray.

Finish Smooth yet dry and lemony.

Overall In a word, refreshing! The perfect gin for a G&T on the lawn.

Reviews for Tanqueray Rangpur Lime
Very special & unique.
This is the best gin I've ever tasted! Usually I'm not keen on flavoured gins but this is very special. Since first trying Rangpur, there's no other for me!

The best flavoured gin
This is wonderful with a slice of lime and tonic. It is not sweet and the lime is tinged with Bergamot. I know it’s made by one of the big multinational companies and not a little craft distillery but It is so damn good! I also really love Tanqueray Sevilla which is 1,000,000 miles better than Gordons or anybody else like that’s orange gin but nearly as cheap. Of the two though Rangpur is very much the better.

See my review above.
I’m a martini person. My recipe for decades, Tanqueray on the rocks, add five olives. The Tanqueray Rangpur was an attached gift sample with today’s purchase. I’m delighted, it’s delicious with a definite floral lime finish. Not sweet, not bitter, perfect on the rocks!

Definitely worth a try
I never even liked GIN until I tried this one at a friendly get-together, it is now my go-to mixed drink (with a can of sugarless red bull), keto-friendly if that's your gig. I can't resist taking a deep inhale every time I uncap it - and am always delighted with the herbal/citrus essence emanating.
This makes my days troubles dissipate, thank you Tanqueray for blending a great gin, for festive or casual moments. Give this one a try, I haven't found a flavoured gin that imprinted on me as well. Jools xo.

Extremely refreshing
I ain't sure why some folks have rated it 2/3 stars; probably didn't find the right mixer? IMHO, this is one of the best from the house of Tanqueray. Mix it with Cucumber Tonic and a couple of slices of Cucumber or if you know how to make floral looking cucumber do that - I'd put in a lots of ice, add a couple of slices of cucumber, pour 50ml Gin in it (slowly); then slowly pour Cucumber Tonic in it to fill the glass (I'd not use high-ball but more traditional one); let it settle down a bit and then stir n let it cool down a bit more - for best results, put your gin bottle in 5 C for about an hour before mixing it. You can't go wrong with this combination.

Yumm!
I concur with many others here. I am not a fan of Tanqueray in general, but this is wonderful with tonic water.

Excellent
I am drinking this gin for the first time on a cold night in New England (U.S.) before the New Year, and I think it is delightful.

Try It - You Won't Be Disappointed
My husband bought this as a gift for me and I have to admit I was underwhelmed when I saw it was from the Tanqueray range. However, I have to say that his is one of the best gins I've tasted for some time (and I've tried many). It has a slight, almost undetectable bitterness, but is so delicious, and is now up there with my favourite gins.
