Steampunk Pirate Gin

As far as we know the Steampunk chaps don't have a steam powered distillery, but their gin for cocktail-loving steam punks was such a success that they've followed it up with this one. Which is for rascal pirates too, presumably. It's made with juniper, orris root, liquorice, star anise, lemon, orange and grapefruit zest.

Reviews for Steampunk Pirate Gin: Rascal Strength
Great gin, smooth and moreish. And if your savvy and don't want to keep the bottle eBay it for about £10
Oh dear. Some people like to publicly announce how stupid they are? If they stick to 70cl for value, suggest you stick to supermarket, mass produced stuff rather than celebrate and enjoy some weird and wonderful niche gins. Your loss!!!!

Complex with spicy afternotes. Splendid
I have enjoyed gin for over 25 years. I was given a bottle of this for Christmas by a friend. I absolutely adore it. Complex and compelling. I have ordered for myself and friends since.
I rarely review products as everyone has differing tastes, however the first reviewers inability to look at what they were ordering irritates.
This gin is excellent.

Amazing Gin!
Sadly, it would appear that the previous reviewer wasn't aware that this gin was 45% alcohol by volume, therefore more duty is payable etc etc... enough of this. This is a reallllly smooth gin despite its potency. I have drunk it neat over ice, and with thyme and cloudy lemonade (I think its called 'Fog on the Thyme') which was truly delicious. I thought it was excellent value for money and would recommend to everyone.

Beware of bottle size
Haven't tried it yet but already feel ripped off as it is a 50cl bottle.
My fault of course for assuming most companies do not scam their customers by producing in 70cl bottles.
Once bitten twice shy.
