All the way from West Virginia comes the Smooth Ambler Greenbrier Gin, an excellent craft gin named after the county where Smooth Ambler are based - Greenbrier County.
Produced in small batches, the Greenbrier Gin features an equally small botanical selection of juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom, coriander, angelica root and black pepper. Saying that, there's nothing small about this gin's flavour - it's jam packed with Appalachian freshness!
This is a 70cl bottling.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose Citrus and floral notes. Pine is in there, but it is in the background, letting the grapefruit and malt take centre stage.
Palate A rich, wonderful texture with sweet notes of cinnamon, ginger and angelica.
Finish Clean with a little black pepper.
Overall Like a refreshing walk in nature on a sunny day. Great stuff.
