Lantic Morva Gin is made in Cornwall by Alex Palmer-Samborne, distiller and founder of Skylark Distillery, in a traditional copper still from Portugal, named after his mother, Virginia. He uses botanicals foraged along the Cornish coast chosen for their seasonality, like elderflower, meadowsweet, wild rose petals, hand-foraged sweet clover, birch sap, and raspberry.
That unusual name comes from Lantic Bay, a hidden cove on the Cornish coast, and Morva, a Cornish word that means “seaside” or “a place by the sea”.
Summer berries, elderflower, juniper, and hints of meadowsweet.
