Silent Pool Gin is produced on the Albury Estate in the Surrey Hills, right next to the Silent Pool, a beautiful, mysterious spring-fed lake - what a place to create a gin! The gin itself features 24 botanicals, including makrut lime, chamomile, local honey and lavender, among others, resulting in a subtly sweet though intricately-balanced tipple.
Violet, lavender and lime leaf bring floral aromatics to the nose, while cardamom and juniper give it a spicy edge.
Elderflower, chamomile and a waft of orange blossom. Warming honey sweetness and a spark of black pepper.
Vanilla-rich honey notes last on the finish.

By far my favourite gin. What I love about this gin is its unique taste, batch to batch. Unlike the usual mass produced churn out gins, there's a subtle difference in every bottle I've tasted so far. It had such subtle flavours but they still stand up to a more robust tonic. My recommendation is a double silent pool with half and half Schweppes and fever tree clementine.
Nice gin but would not buy again. You are paying a premium for the gorgeous bottle with the glass stopper.
So smooth even neat over ice. I enjoy it served with orange peel and sprig of burnt rosemary- perfect for cosy winter evenings. Perfectly matched with Fever Tree tonic (Indian or Mediterranean). Clean crisp botanicals, a light citrus and subtle sweetness. My new favourite gin. Truly Delicious!
I purchased a bottle last year after visiting the Silent Pool and the distillery. Very smooth and refreshing and a wonderful after taste. Love the glass stopper as well! It is by far the best gin that I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. If only it were available in the USA.
I got to try this Gin while I was in London a few weeks ago. It is phenomenal! My usual favorite is Monkey 47 and I put this right up there with it. Very smooth and refreshing with a sweet undertone. I can't wait until it's regularly available in the states.
