Scout & Sage have gone from 'scouting' gins through collaborations, to setting up their own microdistillery in an old fruit farm in Wiltshire. These days they're the collaborating distillers, but they also release their own limited editions gins like this delightful quince and lemon led number.
This has become my go-to gin since I bought a bottle at Frome Show in the summer. Really tangy and full of flavour. Heavy on juniper, which I love & the lemon is from lemon verbena so is a bit fruity but not too sweet. But of a hit in the back of the throat - maybe that's the quince or the cinnamon..? Whatever, it is a fantastic combo.
