From House of Suntory, Roku Gin Noryo Tea Edition turns up the dial on two of its defining botanicals: Sencha and Gyokuro green teas. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of noryo, the art of cooling down by the river during humid summer evenings, this expression still features a core of six Japanese botanicals, including sakura flower and leaf, yuzu peel, sansho pepper, Sencha, and Gyokuro, but the tea character takes centre stage. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is designed for tall serves and unapologetically refreshing summer drinking.
A delicate, grassy lift of Sencha tea layered over soft citrus.
Rich, complex Gyokuro aromas unfold across the palate, with the tea’s signature sweetness and umami beautifully complementing the lighter floral notes of Sencha.
Yuzu citrus, bright Sansho spice, and traditional gin characteristics slowly build into a harmonious finish with elegant tea aromas.
