This is a place where one can learn an awful lot about gin, so you would expect Portobello Road No. 171 to be rather good, and indeed it is. It's an old-style London Dry Gin, containing traditional botanicals and spices, that harks back to the gins of yesteryear.

I'd rate this around the same as Gordon's, it's really not very good and not worth the price tag. Get a bottle of Tanqueray for around the same price and much better taste

One of my go-to London Dry gins. Does what is says on the tin. Lovely with tonic and pretty much any citrus. No, it’s not especially exciting, but it’s outstanding for the price.
