Description

The perfect tipple to enjoy while watching Wimbledon? Perhaps, perhaps! Poetic License's Picnic Gin is packed full of strawberries and cream notes - they distil as well as infuse the botanicals to give it an extra burst of fruit, juicy deliciousness. Enjoy with a good floral tonic water, or drizzle a dash over a fruit salad.

Overall

Fresh strawberries and peppery juniper. A subtle touch of vanilla develops, but it really is all about the fruit sweetness here.

a pleasant surprise

bought this for the bottle and for the mrs as I expected it to be sweet and fruity! how wrong I was! and a pleasant surprise to see a pink gin break the mould and be a dry gin! a subtle taste of strawberries and a creamy aftertaste and mouthfeel... and the best thing yet, it isn't chemically coloured. you can tell they use actual strawberries as the liquid is more of an orange colour as apose to the bright pink!

definitely buy again

very dry gin, not expecting such a dry gin with a bright pink bottle but a pleasant surprise as Im not keen on all these sweet and fruity gins. lovely mellow taste of strawberries and a great aftertaste.

Horribly bitter

My husband and I had it for the first time today and it was very bitter

Don't buy this

Colour was orange and it didn't taste of either strawberries or cream, not at all fruity.
