Brecon Botanicals Gin is a tasty Welsh gin made at the Penderyn distillery. It is based on pure grain spirit and a special selection of botanicals. The illustrations were specially engraved and re-produced for this special edition. Very interesting stuff.
Soft juniper and dried herbs on the nose. A little citrus - orange and lemon peel, with hints of saffron.
Herbal palate, with earthy juniper and Eastern spices. A touch of bergamot, clove oil and cinnamon.
Cassia bark and saffron on the tail.

The Brecon botanicals is refreshing, lightly spiced, beautiful bouquet and a bold finish. Paired with a dry tonic and a rosemary branch its a great apertif. Pity Pendery can't transfer their gin making to their absolutely god awful whiskey range, which I wouldn't even serve to a German on V.E Day
