Brecon Botanicals Gin is a tasty Welsh gin made at the Penderyn distillery. It is based on pure grain spirit and a special selection of botanicals. The illustrations were specially engraved and re-produced for this special edition. Very interesting stuff.
Nose: Soft juniper and dried herbs on the nose. A little citrus - orange and lemon peel, with hints of saffron.
Palate: Herbal palate, with earthy juniper and Eastern spices. A touch of bergamot, clove oil and cinnamon.
Finish: Cassia bark and saffron on the tail.

This is an amazing gin and I'm glad I found it, I've tried a lot of the last decade or so buying a different bottle each purchase and have to say this is one of the best I've ever had to date.https://www.masterofmalt.com/gin/penderyn/brecon-botanicals-gin/#SubmitReview

Works perfectly in a Martini or with a Fever Tree tonic. It has the perfect balance between Juniper and modern citrus and spices.

This is one of the most pleasant gins I have ever tasted. It is a gin that can be sipped alone! It could almost be a liquer. But of course we all have different palates and tastes. But I can honestly say I would definitely buy this gin again and again. It is quality.
